With an initial planning conference, the Common Effort Community started the preparation for a collective training in a strategic game. Hamburg will serve as a living laboratory for the event in 2023. Civil and military partners discussed potential training objectives and the setting for the collective training. The event next year will focus on the assessment of resilience and preparedness of critical infrastructure against hybrid threats. The effectiveness of regional crisis management plans and procedures shall be improved through the collective training too. But also the synchronisation of communication strategies will play a crucial role in the simulation as dis- and misinformation campaigns need strong mitigation and counter measures.
